It was <b>"Let’s promote literacy and a book."</b> "Literacy"? Let's "promote literacy"? Lots of "promotion of literacy" is small-minded snobbery (said I, perhaps in my own small-minded snob mode). How about let's look more realistically at what books are, and reading, and why some people are so full-in invested in the worship of books and villification of any other kind of input, to the point that they're not even sure what "a book" is, or what literacy would be, in the 21st Century, or what it became by the mid-20th. <br /><br />Just this week there...<br /><br />When I got to that point in the rant, I realized I had jumped the tracks.
