I just showed Markus the pics and he was surprised that you got so much snow since you have low precipitation! Way cool.:) It was 77 degrees here last week.....
I'm so jealous, here in town (Alb) we've gotten a few flakes at best. Several friends in the East Mountains said they got enough for their kids to play in. I might have to invade someone's yard here soon. ;)
We're in the shadow of the mountain, near Candelaria, north of Juan Tabo, and that was a week ago. There were a few flakes today but only in the air. Even last Sunday we had more than they had at Montgomery and Juan Tabo, and it hardly showed on the mountains by Monday afternoon. A happy fluke.
When we lived near Winrock, I remember several times taking the boys, when they were little, to the grocery store at Lomas and Juan Tabo when it was snowing at the store, but not at our house less than three miles away. That elevation sure can make a difference!

WOW! You got more snow than we did in Iowa! Don't forget...you don't wanna eat yellow snow. :) Enjoy!
