Holly's plane is probably leaving the gate as I write this. Here's how she looked just before I smelled her hair and kissed her face and hugged her goodbye until January. |
Frank's blog had one of these, and that leads to others. Choose the sixth picture from the sixth picture folder on your computer and post it. Here's mine: Ashlee and Marty at the zoo last winter or spring. They're still all kissy and "I love you" all the time. Mush. Sweet. |

Awwww, they're so cute when they're in that kissy mode. It's like puppies.
Hope Holly has fun in England. Wish we coulda given her a ride there. (wink)
If you have an urge to circumnavigate something in the winter, maybe you could sail over and pick her up for SUSS! (Though I don't guess you'd be back before the 2011 January...)
Thanks for the thought. It was easier to send her with a nice family than into a an airport crowd of international strangers. (And Texas...)
I don't know why this post touched me so much. You are an awesome mama with awesome kids doing awesome things in the world. It makes me all mushy too!
One of the reasons I love your blog is your honesty. Our oldest is 20 and our youngest is 6 and I, too, smell them each time we say goodbye (oldest in college).
